This ring had to be named after Friday Kahlo, one of the most prolific Mexican artists to have ever existed. Frida’s striking works span gender, class, identity and race in Mexican society. She was the first Mexican artist to be displayed at the Louvre in Paris, had many successful exhibitions and was well known for her eccentric personality in social and political circles
Today, Frida ids viewed as an important figure in art history as well as an icon for the Latin community, LGBTQ and feminist movements. We had to include her in our 20th anniversary collection. Her ring is funky and fun. It has stacked raw amethyst stones and has a hand hammered band that wraps around your finger.
Stones will vary in length and in coloring but will have 5 stacked stones in total. Ring will be approximately 1.5 inches long and 3/4 inch wide.
